Agartala: Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu arrived in Tripura on Wednesday after visiting Assam, Meghalaya and Manipur and inaugurated an exhibition of handloom and handicraft products in Agartala. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice President urged the youth to buy and promote Indian handicrafts, handlooms, khadi and other products made by local artisans instead of foreign goods. Later he interacted with self-help groups, priority sector and a group of outstanding performers in the field.
