Mahesh Babu is on cloud nine as his recently-released flick Maharshi is being showered with love on social media. First, it was Megastar Chiranjeevi who appreciated the team of Maharshi for delivering a quality product. Now, Vice-President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu, has lauded the team of Maharshi for doing a film on farmers and highlighting their issues. He expressed his views on his official Twitter handle.

He wrote, “Maharshi reminded me the importance of farming and that is a pride to farmers in India. To Mahesh Babu, who performed really well, Vamsi Paidipally’s for the direction skills, producers and other technical crew, I convey my wishes @urstrulyMahesh @directorvamshi.” (sic)

Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu congratulated Mahesh Babu for his acting in Maharshi, and Vamsi Paiidpally for his brilliant direction. Venkaiah Naidu called Maharshi an ‘Inspirational’ movie that should be watched by everyone.

Mahesh Babu was surprised to see Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu showering praises on his film. He replied to his tweet and wrote, "Sir.. This is such an honour for me personally & our whole team... it can't get better than this. Thank you Sir, your words have inspired us to keep doing more films like "Maharshi".. on behalf of Team Maharshi... humbled, Sir. (Sic)"
