The Uri star is currently in New York as he will be spending his birthday in the city this year. The actor has been sharing pics and videos from his holiday on his Instagram page. Recently, the Masaan actor met Ranbir Kapoor's parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in New York and clicked a picture with them.

From last year, Rishi Kapoor has been taking treatment for cancer in New York. Neetu Kapoor has been by his side throughout and a lot of celebs meet them and wish for his good health and recovery. Vicky Kaushal was the recent one to go and meet the Kapoors. Last week, Deepika Padukone also met Rishi and Neetu and clicked pics with them.

Talking about Vicky Kaushal's birthday plans, the actor took a two-week break. He has rented a villa in the countryside and he plans to relax and catch up with his college friends. After his birthday celebration, the Uri actor will be watching the award-winning played called Sleep No More.

On the work front, he will be resuming the shoot of Shoojit Sircar's Udham Singh biopic once he is back to India. The makers have earlier shared his look from the film which has got everyone excited for it.

Vicky Kaushal will also prep for Karan Johar's Takht. The film also stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
