The very talented actor Vicky Kaushal who has won the hearts of the fans with his outstanding peformance has happened to fracture his cheekbone while shooting for his upcoming yet-to-be titled horror film directed by debutante Bhanu Pratap Singh. Turns out he was filming a hard-core action sequence wherein he had to run and open a door but much to his dismay, the door fell right back on him and he got injured.

According to the report of Mumbai Mirror, the door fell on the URI actor and he was badly hurt. He was rushed to a local hospital by the crew and flown to Mumbai on Friday morning. The actor will be consulting a doctor in Mumbai and will be back in action once he is better."

According to the report, the accident happened during a night shoot in Alang, Gujarat, the place which boasts the World's biggest ship breaking yard. The team was on a rigorous scheduled until Vicky got injured, bringing the shoot to a halt for time being. Well, we really hope Vicky hasn't suffered severe injuries on his face and he recovers soon.

On the work front, Vicky has Karan Johar's Takht in his kitty - the multi-starrer which boasts an ensemble cast to the likes of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor among others. More recently, it has been also reported that he's finalised a mythological film where he'll be seen essaying the role of Ashwatthama.
