Dehradun: The flag hoisting ceremony was organized across the country on the occasion of Republic Day. Amidst all this, very good pictures of hoisting the tricolor from Kedarnath came out. The ITBP personnel guarding Kedarnath, along with the temple committee staff, hoisted the tricolor flag on the occasion of January 26. Thereafter, the National Anthem was also sung. Along with this, adorable pictures of flag hoisting also surfaced from Kargil in Ladakh. The national flag was hoisted here amidst minus 15 degrees Celsius temperature.

The main event of flag hoisting took place at Duty Path in Delhi. For the first time in the country, tribal woman President Draupadi Murmu took the salute of the parade. As per tradition, the national flag was hoisted followed by a 21-gun salute. Then, there was a parade. The 90-minute parade showcased indigenous military might, women's power, and the new India.
 
During the parade in Delhi, the flight of 50 aircraft including Prachanda and Rafale in the sky demonstrated the power of the Indian Air Force beyond the borders. This scene made every Indian's chest widen with pride. The 90-minute parade saw 23 tableaux. These included tableaux from states, ministries, and departments. While the Uttar Pradesh tableau showcased Ayodhya, the Home Ministry showcased the tableau of a drug-free India. The tableau of the Central Armed Police Forces depicted 'Nari Shakti'. In the end, 50 aircraft of the Indian forces did a flypast.
