Bollywood director and father of actor Ajay Devgn passed away at the age of 77. The renowned action choreographer, who has been a part of several hit movies, passes away in Mumbai. Almost the entire Bollywood industry visited Ajay Devgn's residence to pay the last respect to the veteran. Celebs like Anil Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Suniel Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor, Raza Murad, Arjun Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and many others were spotted at the residence. Kajol was very close to her father-in-law and it was very difficult for her to accept his demise.

According to the report, When Ajay and his family members were taking away father Veeru Devgn for the last rites, Kajol was inconsolable. Fortunately, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were present with her at the moment and consoled her in this hour of immense grief. Kajol in no time broke down in Ash's arm and expressed her grief.

Veeru has worked in over 80 movies to choreograph for stunts scenes. He was a part of movies Mr India, Lal Badshaah, Himmatwala, Mr. Natwarlal, Kranti, Shahenshah (1988), Tridev (1989), and many other movies. He also worked on Ajay's debut movie Phool Aur Kaante which featured the famous scene of Ajay entering on two bikes.
