Srinagar: The weather has changed with snowfall in the upper hilly areas of Kashmir. This has triggered cold in the valley. Meanwhile, the MET department (IMD) has released an estimate of heavy rain in Kashmir. According to the Met Department (IMD), the hilly areas of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir may receive light snowfall along with heavy snowfall and heavy rains in the plains.

The MET department has issued an alert for the weather for Saturday and Sunday i.e. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir today (Saturday). According to the information, near Ramban, NH-44 has been blocked due to heavy rains. After rain and snowfall in the mountains, cold air has now started blowing in the plains. On the other hand, from Uttarakhand to Himachal, nature has wreaked havoc. Many tourists have died in unseasonal rains and blizzards. However, tourists from some areas have been rescued by the SDRF and air force after a difficult operation.

 

In Uttarakhand, the Air Force has launched rescue operations at Pindari Glacier, Sundardhanga Glacier and Kafani Glacier after heavy rains in Bageshwar to rescue tourists. Rescue agencies have carried out a relief operation by playing with their lives.
