Raiupar: November 15 means Govardhan Puja is being done all over India today. This festival is also being celebrated in Chhattisgarh. A video has been released on social media, in which Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel is seen flogging by a person. Like every year CM, after Diwali this year, Govardhan has reached Durga city today for worship. Here, he carried on the tradition of flogging for the wishes of all citizens.


In this tradition, the old Vishwas Thakur used to do the job of flogging. After him according to this tradition, his son Birendra Thakur played the ritual of flogging. CM Baghel told that this tradition is played for everyone's happiness.

On the other hand, 716 more people have confirmed infection of COVID-19 during the last 24 hours in the state. The number of people infected with this virus in the state has reached 2,10,004. On Saturday, 70 people in the state were discharged from hospitals after becoming infection-free, while 712 people completed isolation at home. 17 people infected with COVID-19 virus have died in the state. State Health Department officials said on Saturday that there were 716 cases of infection today. These include 92 from Raipur district, 46 from Durg, 56 from Rajnandgaon, 22 from Balod, 52 from Bemetra, 16 from Kabirdham, 22 from Dhamtari, 12 from Balodabazar, 21 from Mahasamund, five from Gariaband, 3 from Bilaspur, 68 from Raigad Those infected with Covid were found.
