Will Smith has been putting in a lot of effort at the gym, and it's paying off. The 53-year-old actor updated his fitness and health journey on Sunday by posting a montage of his strenuous activities to social media. As he lifts weights, pulls ups, and sprints in the video, the Bad Boys for Life star appears strong and fit.

He captioned the photo, "And to think Sundays used to be for muffins #bestshapeofmylife." Fans of the actor, on the other hand, applauded his progress in the comments area. One person wrote, "I knew he was going to drop that weight." "KING WILL," said another user. One user even cited a line from Smith's film The Pursuit of Happiness as a motivator: "Never believe someone who tells you that you can't accomplish anything. Even I am not one of them. You have a dream, and you must guard it. When people are unable to accomplish anything for themselves, they want to tell you that you are unable to do it as well. Go grab it if you want something. Period."

Meanwhile, Smith has been putting in a lot of effort to lose the weight he gained during the COVID-19 epidemic. He has been uploading images and videos of his rigorous activities on social media for several months. The actor has kept the tone light by frequently posting funny films about his struggles to regain strength and fitness. Smith admitted to being in "the worst shape of my life" in May and promised to work on his health.

He posted a shirtless photo of himself, "This is the body that sustained me through a whole epidemic and many days nibbling through the pantry." He wrote at the time, "I adore my body, but I want to FEEL better." According to PEOPLE, Smith also stated on May 4 that he would be documenting his transformation in conjunction with YouTube for a new original series that will premiere next year and follow him on his health and fitness journey.
