Alia Bhatt is all set for her upcoming movie Darlings. The film was sold at a whopping Rs 75 crore. The makers released the much-awaited trailer today, July 25. In the trailer launch event, Alia wore a yellow, bell-shaped dress flaunts her baby bump as she posed in its swathes of fabric. She tied her hair in a ponytail and wore minimal makeup. The actress is looking gorgeous in the event.
Alia is quite excited for the movie. Sharing the photos in her beautiful yellow dress, the actress wrote, “It’s DARLINGS day.” The actress also earlier talked about her role in the movie and said, "Darlings holds a very special place in my heart, it's my first film as a producer that too We are very proud and happy how the film has shaped up and we hope it will entertain and engage audiences the world over."
Darlings is a dark comedy movie, 2-minute-34 second trailer shows Alia and Shefali lodging a missing complaint for Vijay Varma. However, there is a twist. Alia is not as innocent as she looks and the trailer shows how she has been facing domestic violence and is determined to give the same treatment to her husband, Humza aka Vijay Varma. Besides Alia Bhatt, the movie also stars Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma.
While in the first trailer of the movie shows some glimpses of the story, in which Alia and Vijay play a married couple that gets caught up in a bit of trouble. Helmed by Jasmeet K Reen, Darlings explores the lives of a mother-daughter duo trying to find their place in Mumbai, seeking courage and love in exceptional circumstances while fighting against all odds and now the latest trailer of the movie is launched.
