Talking to a website, the Bollywood actress said, "I think we face fascism all the time, not only through men, but even women. Sometimes we do the same with other women. I think the patriarchal society has so much misogyny in which we are all immersed, which is difficult to get rid of easily. I face it sometimes even today. It makes me suffer, but much less than before. I see people facing fascism all around me. Not everyone even knows that they are saying something wrong most of the time. At the same time, he said, "In my early years, I was always told that the mail actor had given his date, so you have to keep your date around him. At times, it was not even mattered that my role was more important than that of a male actor in that film.''
