Renowned Indian Olympic boxer Vijender Singh is celebrating his birthday today. He was born on 29 October 1985 in the city of Bhiwani, Haryana. His father Mahipal Singh Beniwal is a bus driver on Haryana Roadways. His mother is a housewife. Vijendra belongs to a very lower-middle-class family.

Vijendra has completed his studies from Bhiwani. He has also completed his undergraduate studies from Bhiwani's college. He was fond of boxing and wrestling since his college days, he used to practice it at Bhiwani Boxing Club. He has taken coaching training from Indian boxing coach Gurbax Singh Sandhu.

Vijendra Singh has illuminated the name of India many times in his wrestling career. He has also won many awards for India. He also tried his luck in acting of his good personality. He made his acting debut in Hindi cinema with Akshay Kumar produced movie Fugli. The screenplay of this movie was based on four friends. The movie did well at the box office. Vijender Singh has achieved many successes in his career.
