Today in a board meeting, National Stock Exchange named IDFC chief Vikram Limaye as the next CEO & MD. The decision is sent for clearance to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and NSE AGM.
This meeting come into existence when IPO prepared to launch by NSE. It is calculated approximately Rs 10,000 crore.
According to Dipan Mehta, a member of NSE, other than IPO, currency derivatives is another area to be focused.
Deven Choksey of KRChoksey Investment Manager as per the sources news said,"The selection is very appropriate because of Limaye's past experience". "Further development of the business is likely to be much better under his leadership".
This meeting comes as the sudden exit of Chitra Ramkrishna as Chairman last year.
