Amritsar: Ahead of the Punjab assembly elections, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia has levelled a big allegation against Congress. "The Congress party talks about respecting the Constitution, but these people have made a mockery of Republic Day and the Constitution. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has named Sukhpal Khaira as an accused in the case, in which he is related to drug traffickers, but no action was taken against him even after the warrant.''

At the same time, he also accused former DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyay of having links with gangsters. SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia made a big revelation while addressing a press conference in Chandigarh. Accusing former DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyay of having links with gangsters, he said that the DGP who has links with gangsters can also compromise with the PM's security and an NIA inquiry should be conducted into the DGP's involvement.

Referring to a call recording of former DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyay and a gangster, he said the DGP had spoken to a gangster a few days before PM Modi's visit and said that he would teach Modi a lesson in the coming three-four days. Let us know that Siddharth Chattopadhyay was the acting DGP of Punjab at the time of the breach in PM Modi's security. Accusing the Congress of adopting a double stand, Majithia said that no action was taken against Sidhu Musewala in the Arms Act, but there is a separate law in Punjab for Majithia.
