Kamal Haasan's upcoming film titled 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is expected to begin soon, after the COVID-19 situation and lockdown gets better. Recently we had reported that actor Narain had been roped into the film, which already has Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi and Arjun Das. Meanwhile, the latest is that the film is finally getting a move on and recently, a test shoot with Kamal Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi was completed in Chennai.

Reports are that the full-fledged shooting for the film is expected to begin soon. 'Vikram' is said to be an action thriller written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander. Touted to be a political thriller, the film is being planned to be wrapped up in a single schedule.

Cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan, who was supposed to crank the camera for 'Vikram' has opted out due to clashing schedules with his other film and it was officially announced recently that Girish Gangadharan will be the cameraman for the film.
