Dumka: There are many cases in Jharkhand these days which are shocking. Now, the recent case has come to light from the Raniswar police station area of Dumka district here. In fact, a woman was first stripped and then paraded in public with a garland of shoes. There has been resentment among the people since the matter came to light. In the entire case, Ranieshwar police station in-charge Rajiv Prakash says, "An FIR was lodged against 12 persons, including two women, on the woman's statement last Thursday evening.''

Police have also said that we have arrested six persons last Friday. The police station in-charge says the woman from the Masanjor police station area was married to Manik Mirdha in a village in Raniswar. Six months ago, Manik and a married woman from Kulugu village reportedly fell in love and a month ago the woman moved with Manik to Burdwan in West Bengal.

The police station in-charge says the duo returned to Kadama village last Wednesday evening and Manik's wife and others in the house caught the woman. After that, everyone first thrashed her and then stripped her and garlanded her with shoes around her neck, and drove her all over the village. The police station in charge says that the 12 persons against whom a case has been registered are all from Manik's family.
