New Delhi: On the day of Republic Day, there was a lot of violence in the tractor parade of farmers who came out in Delhi and the effect of this is now being seen on the farmers' movement. The villagers came out on the streets on Thursday against the farmers' organizations that have been agitating for the last two months on the Singhu border of Delhi. There was a lot of anger among the villagers about the violence in the Red Fort, the protesters demanded that the highway be evacuated immediately. Among those protesting against the peasant movement were Hindu army organizations and local citizens who came to the streets with the tricolour.

The agitators said that the tricolour was despised in the Red Fort, which we will not bear. Till now we were helping the farmers performing here, but they are very angry with the incident that happened on Republic Day. When the protest was done here on behalf of the villagers, the peasant protesters also started shouting slogans. Slogans of Jai Jawan-Jai Kisan were raised on behalf of the farmers. There also came a time when both groups of slogans came face to face. However, local protesters returned shortly afterwards.

Since the violence during 26 January, security has been increased at various demonstrations, so the people who came to protest were also protesting at a distance. The flag was hoisted by the miscreants during the violence at the Red Fort, during which it was alleged that the tricolour was insulted there. Delhi Police has also registered a case related to the Red Fort violence, while reports are also being given to the Union Home Ministry.
