Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday said that two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists have been apprehended by villagers in the Reasi area of the Jammu division. The local villagers had caught the militants with heavy weapons and ammunition. The official Twitter handle of ADGP Jammu has also congratulated the local villagers for their courage and cooperation with the security forces.
He also saluted the courage of the villagers of Tuksan in the Reasi district. Two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were caught by the villagers with weapons, which included 2 AK rifles, 7 grenades and a pistol. Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbagh Singh announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for the villagers and has enhanced their courage.

Police recovered a huge amount of weapons from the terrorists: In another tweet, the police revealed the identity of the detained terrorists. They have been identified as Faizal Ahmad Dar son of Bashir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Pulwama, and Talib Hussain, son of Haider Shah, a resident of Rajouri. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha also appreciated the bravery of the villagers and announced awards for them. At least 2 AK rifles, 7 grenades and a pistol have been seized from the arrested terrorists. Â
