According to the report of nydailynews.com., the singer had a lawyer appear on his behalf in the courtroom here and enter a plea of "no contest" to one count of misdemeanor alcohol-related reckless driving.

Vayghn  was immediately sentenced to three years probation, the Los Angeles County District Attorney said. He was also ordered to complete a three-month alcohol program, pay fines and submit to any alcohol screening tests requested by law enforcement while on probation.

prosecutors said, the actor's lawyer was advised that if Vaughn drives under the influence and a person is killed, he could be charged with murder. The deal, which dropped the original three charges in the case, means Vaughn won't have a DUI on his record.
