Gold medalist Vinesh phogat says Indian Coaches are nor good enough to produce Olympic Champions

Vinesh Phogat is one of the most taleneted female wrestlers who made the India proud at the international level. She is winner of gold medals at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games and recently she clinched the top spot in Jakarta in the 50kg category. The champion doubt the potential of the Indian coach and says that they are not good enough to produce Olympic champions.

In a function the wrestler said that Indian coaches are giving results. But for an event like the Olympics, where the level of competition is very high, we need foreign coaches who can plan each day and discuss every aspect of our game like speed, stamina and strength besides technique.

Appreciating coach Hungarian waller, the wrestler said that Hungarian Waller Ako helped her fill the gap and gave her some useful lessons. Those instructions mattered a lot to her in Jakarta. She further added that she feel that in order to win an Olympic medal and will need the help of a personal coach like Waller. Giving credit to the training she says that her y gold at the Spanish Grand Prix was the result of that training and If she get the same training over the next two years she will certainly win an Olympic medal.
