Srinagar: Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated in Jammu and Kashmir today. There was no peace in the valley even on this festival, a symbol of the brotherhood celebrated at the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Police and protesters clashed in Pulwama district of the Union Territory, in which two people were injured.

The incident of clash took place in Mitigram area under Pulwama. According to the information, security forces started a search operation in Rohmu area of Pulwama. During the search operation, the army busted the whereabouts of the terrorists at Frestpura in Rahmu. Detonators and other explosives were recovered by security forces from the spot. During this time people started protesting, causing a clash between the protesters and the police. Two civilians were injured in this clash. However, there is no report of any terrorist being caught. A search operation is going on in the area.

Let us tell you that Eid is being celebrated today in Kerala and Jammu and Kashmir as well. Eid will be celebrated on 25 May in other areas of the country. Let me tell you that the operation of the army against the terrorists continued even in the Pak month of Ramadan. In the past, the army had stacked Jaish commander Riyaz Naiku.
