The whole country is angry at the action done in Ladakh. Former President Pranab Mukherjee said on the death of Indian soldiers in violent clashes with Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley that the conscience of the country has been hurt. If this does not happen again, all options will have to be explored. He said that the whole political class needs to deal with it satisfactorily through mutual cooperation. 20 Indian soldiers have been martyred in the clash between the soldiers of India and China, while China has also suffered heavy losses. However, no information has been given from China yet.

20 Indian soldiers, including a colonel, were killed in a violent clash with Chinese soldiers in the Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh on Monday night. It has been described as the biggest military confrontation after more than five decades. Mukherjee said in a statement, 'The government should ensure that our national interests are paramount. The conscience of the country has been hurt. The whole political class needs to deal with it satisfactorily through mutual cooperation. For this, the central government should take various stakeholders including armed forces.

The former President expressed deep condolences on the supreme sacrifice of the soldiers. He said, 'I believe that there can be no more service to Mother India than the martyrdom of brave soldiers who protect our sovereignty and integrity. We are free only on the basis of his sacrifice.'' It is worth mentioning that a strategy is being worked out in the country to give a proper answer to China. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called an all-party meeting in Ladakh on June 19 at 5 pm to discuss the situation in the Indo-China border areas. In this information shared by the PM's office, it has been told that the presidents of various political parties will take part in this virtual meeting.
