Ayodhya: Construction of Ram Temple has started since the Supreme Court verdict on Ramnagari Ayodhya, but the controversy over other aspects related to it has also continued. A similar controversy has arisen over land purchases. In fact, after the apex court's verdict on Ayodhya, VIP people have purchased land around the Ram temple.

These lands have been purchased from officers to police officers, leaders to their families. Now the Yogi government in the state has ordered an inquiry into the matter. The inquiry report has been called within five days. The Yogi government has decided to conduct an inquiry into the sensitive matter by special secretary Radheshyam Mishra. They have been asked to conduct a detailed inquiry within five days and submit the report. Now this action of the state government is considered extremely important in the election season. The opposition has been constantly alleging that there is rampant corruption in the name of Ram Temple. Many close ones are being given the benefit.

According to media reports, several senior officials had purchased the land at a nominal price after the Supreme Court verdict. The list includes lands purchased by M.P. Agarwal, Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay, IPS Deepak Kumar, retired IAS Uma Dhar Dwivedi, PPS Arvind Chaurasia, who were commissioners in Ayodhya.
