Fans often cross the lines at times to meet the former captain and there are not many who would turn down an opportunity to meet him.  However, recently a kid refused to meet Dhoni during an event in Mumbai. In a video which is going viral on social media, Dhoni can be seen meeting a crowd of fans after playing a friendly football match. but a kid, who had an up and personal chance of meeting Dhoni refused when the star cricketer offered to pick the child up.  'Aaoge,' Dhoni asks the kid, who starts crying and the former Indian captain decides to give up.

On work front, recently Dhoni had a fine show with the bat and the gloves on the tours of Australia and New Zealand.  He scored three back to back half-centuries in the ODI series against Australia and notched up 193 runs to bag the Man of the Series award. He didn't get many opportunities with the bat in the ODI series against New Zealand scoring 49 runs in two innings.
