New Delhi: Captain Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has achieved a new feat on Monday. Playing against Delhi Capitals at the Dubai International Stadium, Virat scored 43 runs from 39 balls. Kohli became the first Indian batsman to score 9000 runs in T20 cricket after scoring 10 runs in this match.

Kohli, who performed poorly in the first three games in the 13th season of IPL, is now seen returning to his colors. Earlier, he had scored an unbeaten 72 against Rajasthan Royals and contributed significantly to the team's victory. Virat Kohli hit Harshal Patel for the first ball of the fourth over and completed his 10 runs. With this, Virat Kohli also took the record of being the first Indian player to complete 9000 runs.

Let us know that Virat Kohli is also the highest run-scorer in IPL history. He has scored 5545 runs in 182 matches at an average of 37.72 and a strike rate of 130.99. Virat Kohli is the seventh player in the world to complete 9000 runs in T20 cricket. Chris Gayle (13296), Kieron Pollard (10345), Shoaib Malik (9926), Brendon McCullum (9922), David Warner (9451) and Aaron Finch (9161) have done it before them.
