Indian skipper Virat Kohli have so many records with his names during his 8 years of International cricket career but the recent one is the unpleasant one. He has found himself added to another list of records that is getting out in a test match by "Hit Wicket". He has become 22nd Indian batsman to be declared out in that fashion and he is the first in last 14 years after VVS Laxman for the Indian team.

Any batsman is given out for hitting the wicket by either his body parts or the playing bat during the match play. Virat Kohli also found himself disturbing the wicket when he was trying to do a pull shot on the 4th day of the very first test match between India and England in Rajkot. He was trying to play the ball of Adil Rashid. He was by the score of 40 at that time.

Before him, VVS Laxman has been given out in this fashion in 2002. He is the first captain after Lala Amarnath to be given out in this fashion. Well, this is cricket, sometimes you make records and sometimes unknowingly you become the part of the record.
