New Delhi: Preparations for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 are at their peak. All teams are engaged in preparations at their own level. The first match of IPL 14 will be played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 9. The match will be played in Chennai. Meanwhile, the good news is coming out for Virat Kohli's team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

It is now clear that captain Virat Kohli is going to open for RCB this time too. The second opening batsman along with Virat Kohli will be Devdutt Padikkal. In IPL 2020, the RCB team reached the playoff, but the team was struggling with a problem throughout the tournament. it was the team's opener, though one of the team's opening batsmen was Devdutt Padikkal. Australia's captain Aaron Finch was his partner, but in a single match in the entire IPL, Aaron Finch did not bat in the way he is famous for.

After this, captain Virat Kohli got Aaron Finch out in a few matches and also got Josh Philippe in his place. Phillippe had a good batting with Aaron Finch, but he also did not play any big innings. Now the RCB team management has decided that captain Virat Kohli himself will start the innings with Devdatta Padikal.
