New Delhi: The coronavirus in India is increasing rapidly, making the situation worse. Coming to the last 24 hours, about four lakh and a half new cases have been reported, while more than 3,000 people have lost their lives. Corona vaccination is also progressing at a rapid pace across the country to end the corona crisis.

People from all over the country, right from the general public, are coming forward to take the vaccine. In the same vein, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli took the first dose of the vaccine on Monday. He posted the information about the vaccination on social media app Instagram. Kohli has also requested the rest of the people to get the vaccine done. He said, 'Please get the vaccine done as soon as you can, stay safe'. Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan and Umesh Yadav have also been vaccinated before Kohli. The Indian players have been at home since the postponement of IPL 2021.

It is scheduled to tour England in the first week of June. In such a situation, the players are getting vaccinated. After taking the first dose in India, the second dose will be given to these players in England. Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan was the first to take the first dose of corona vaccine after postponement of IPL 2021. Dhawan took a dose of the vaccine on May 7. He then wrote, 'The vaccine has been given. Thank you to all corona warriors for their sacrifice and commitment'.
