New Delhi. In the first Test between India and Australia being played in Adelaide, Indian captain Virat Kohli has made a lot of headlines. Kohli, who played an excellent inning of 74 runs in the first innings, is also doing wonders in fielding. Team India has tightened its grip on the Australian team in the second day of the Test match.

Earlier, Team India's first innings was dismissed for 244 runs. In response, the Australian team is struggling losing 9 wickets for 178 runs. Earlier, Jasprit Bumrah sent both the opening batsmen of Australia to the pavilion in a spectacular opening spell. After this, star spinner R Ashwin took three wickets and brought Australia to the backfoot. In the 41st over of the match, Kohli took a super catch, which is being praised by all. R Ashwin was bowling and in front of him was Cameron Green playing the first Test match. Green pulled Ashwin's ball over the midwicket where Kohli caught the catch, making a great dive. Green kept walking by scoring just 11 runs.

Earlier, Team India were bowled out for 244 runs. For Australia, Mitchell Starc took four for 53 and Pat Cummins three for 48. India's last four batsmen were dismissed after adding 11 runs to yesterday's score. India had scored 233 runs after losing six wickets at the end of the first day's play. India lost the last seven wickets within 56 runs.
