New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will organize a week-long festival from August 22 to August 29 to commemorate the foundation day of its organization. Addressing the media, VHP Joint General Secretary Surinder Jain said, "Broadly we will cover three agendas. First of all, we will create awareness about the corona epidemic and help the needy.'' He said, "Secondly, we will celebrate Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami and spread awareness about the organization. Thirdly, we will make people aware of the Ram Temple, its importance, culture, traditions, etc.''

He further said, 'VHP workers will go to the people of every state, district, village to spread awareness about the agenda. It will help control the epidemic situation in the country.' State that the VHP was formed on August 29, 1964. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) was established on August 29, 1964, on the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami with the blessings of Saint Shakti of India. the purpose of the VHP is to organize Hindu society, protect Hinduism and do social service. In millions of villages and towns in India, the organization is seen as a strong, effective, sustainable, and ever-growing organization. With the increase in Hindu activities all over the world, a strong and confident Hindu organization is slowly taking shape.

Through more than 1,00,000 service projects in the sectors of health, education, self-empowerment, village education temples, etc., VHP is strengthening the roots of Hindu society. The organization is rejuvenating the society to revive the free and underlying Hindu unity of the society through constant efforts to eradicate social evils such as untouchability prevalent in Hindu society. The organization is establishing itself as the indomitable power of Hindu society by raising issues like Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Shri Amarnath Yatra, Shri Ramsetu, Shri Ganga Raksha, Gau Raksha, Hindu Math-Mandir issue, conversion of Hindus by Christian Church, Islamic terrorism, Bangladeshi Muslim infiltration to protect its core values, beliefs and sacred traditions.
