Christmas is the biggest festival of Christians. The festival is going to be celebrated on the 25th of December, but before that, a new controversy is emerging in South Assam. The Bajrang Dal has made a big announcement in the Barak Valley of southern Assam. In this proclamation, it threatens to beat up Hindus visiting churches during Christmas celebrations. It has said that if Hindus go to church, they may have to pay a heavy price.

This warning of Bajrang Dal came after the alleged lockout of Vivekananda Cultural Center by the Khasi Student Union in Shillong. The Bajrang Dal has said that they know that on December 26, the media will call them goon, but it does not matter to them. Bajrang Dal General Secretary Mithu Nath has given this warning to Hindus. A video of these talks of Mithu Nath surfaced on social media and after that, Deputy Commissioner of Kachar district, Kirti Jalli, after taking suo motu case registered a case and ordered an inquiry. It is being told that in charge of Bajrang Dal, Mithu Nath said all this in a meeting on December 3.

He had said, 'No Hindu will be allowed to attend church during Christmas. Hindus going to church to participate in Christmas celebrations will be 'beaten'. Following his statement, his video was widely condemned on social media platforms. Well, in this meeting, he had mentioned referring to the lockout at the gate of Vivekananda Center, '“You open temple, we will allow the church. We welcome that. But if you will lock the temple there, then we will not allow the church here. "Now the police is carefully investigating this matter.
