The specialty of this temple is that here Shivalinga color of Narmeshwar Mahadev changes. There is a standing idol of Nandi in this temple which will not be seen anywhere. According to historians, this temple is built on Rajasthani architecture and is built on the Tantric pudding system. The statues doing sadhana on the outer walls of the temple show it as a Tantric temple.

Oyal was the main center of the town Shaiva community. The rulers here were worshipers of Lord Shiva. In this temple, there is a glimpse of devotees during Diwali.
