New Delhi: Airline company Vistara has made a big announcement, saying that the staff will not be laid off even after the corona epidemic. Review of salary cut will be done in January. The company is going to increase the number of daily flights by the end of this month. The airline company is going to increase their number from 80 to 100.

The company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Leslie Theng said that in order to keep all jobs safe, we had decided to cut wages to reduce cost at the staff level. In such a situation, this cut is for December 2020. Before the Coronavirus, Vistara was operating more than 200 flights to 34 destinations every day, the airline's CEO Theng said. The airline is currently operating 80 daily flights, which will be increased to 100 by the end of the month. Domestic flight service was suspended from March 25 to May 24 due to a lockdown imposed to prevent the corona infection.

International flights are still closed. Some international flights are operated under bilateral agreements (Air Bubble Agreement). In addition, with the approval of the aviation regulator DGCA, some flights are operating in the Indian sky. He said, 'Though the demand is still lower than the covid pre-level, it is continuously improving which is an encouraging trend.
