The Indian smartphone market has now got a new number 2. There have been many changes in the Indian smartphone market in the last year. According to a new report by Counterpoint Research, another Chinese smartphone brand has made its place in the Indian smartphone market after Xiaomi. Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has made it to number 2 with a 21 % market share. Xiaomi still remains the first choice of Indian users. Samsung, occupying the No. 2 position, has come third with 19% market share. Xiaomi retains the top position with 27 % market share.

Indian market overtook America, made assistance in top position

In the Indian smartphone market, OPPO and Realme occupy the fourth and fifth position with 12 % and 8 % market share respectively. According to the report by Counterpoint Research, Vivo has recorded a growth of 76% year-on-year. The company's year-on-year growth in the fourth quarter of the year was 134 %. According to this report, Apple has suffered the most. Apple's market share in the Indian market is now just 2% left.

After Vivo, Oppo and other companies, another smartphone brand iQOO launched

Talking about Vivo, last year the company has launched several series in the budget range. These new series include Vivo S, Vivo U and Vivo Z Series. Vivo has tried to end Xiaomi's dominance through the Vivo U series, especially in the price range below Rs 10,000. The company's Z series has been well-liked in the price range of Rs 15,000. Vivo has also launched a stylish smartphone segment with better selfie cameras through the S series.
