The customer care service of all electronic and big companies is closed amid the lockdown, but in the meantime Vodafone Idea has issued a WhatsApp number for the customer care service giving a big gift to the customers. Apart from this, the company has also launched Customer Care Chatbot with the support of Artificial Intelligence (AI) which is available on the company's website, My Vodafone App and My Idea App. Vodafone Idea has started this service with the help of ORISERVE.
Vodafone Idea customers can ask questions regarding their problem along with information on bill payment, recharge, data balance, through AI chatbot and WhatsApp. The AI-based service is 24x7. On this new service, Vodafone Idea Chief Technology Officer Vishal Vora said, 'We at Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) are committed to keeping our customers engaged and providing a better experience using digital platforms .
In line with our digital first approach, we are offering technology based services to help our customers. We hope that our new service will help the customers a lot. To avail the customer care service, Vodafone customers will have to send WhatsApp messages on 9654297000 and Idea customers on 7065297000. Let us know that Vodafone Idea has become the first telecom company in the country to provide customer care service on WhatsApp number.
