The final production-spec version of Volkswagen's ID.Buzz concept has been teased. The first time this model was seen was in 2017. The business has officially set a date for the electric van's premiere, which will take place on March 9, 2022.

The VW Bus's official nameplate has yet to be revealed, but it is expected to be released as a spiritual successor to the classic Microbus. VW has released a teaser photograph of the vehicle in a camouflage pattern, which closely resembles the scheme shown on the ID.5 and similar ID.4 cars back when they were teased.

Needless to say, the final production-spec model differs somewhat from the idea shown previously, but it strongly matches elements spotted in spy images of test vehicles taken a few months ago. ID.4 and ID.5 will be supported by the same MEB platform in the final production-spec model.

There will be three different versions of the future all-electric vehicle. they will be passenger, ride-pooling, and ride-hailing types.

The EV will be available as a ride-hailing model in the United States, with a four-seat arrangement in the back. In this US-market-spec vehicle, two of the rear seats will face forward and two will face back.

Volkswagen is aiming to mass produce the ID Buzz electric bus next year, after it was first presented as a concept car. It is expected to arrive at international dealerships in 2023, although it will not be available in India until 2024.
