On Tuesday, Volkswagen India launched a luxury car in Passat, India. The exorbitant cost of its lower variant is 29.99 lakh rupees. While the price of the top variant is 32.99 lakh rupees. This car will be available in two variants, Comfortline and Highline. 

Mileage of 17.42 km per liter 
The Passat car was first displayed at the Auto Expo in 2016. In India, this is the model of the third Generals of Peace. It is built on the company's MQB platform. In Passat, there are 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels. It has a 12.3-inch touchscreen futuristic system. These infotainment systems will support Bluetooth connectivity, Apple Carpool, and Android Auto. Passat will provide a mileage of 17.42 km per liter. 

Rearview camera for driver 
This car has Advance Driver Assistance System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Breaking System FEATURES. There are also rearview cameras in this car. Apart from this, there has also been Driving Modes and Park Assist Factors in Passat. A 2.0-liter tuboised diesel engine has been given in Passat. It generates 177 bhp power and 350 Nm torque. In Passat, there is a 6-speed DSG transmission system. 

The wide stance and the sharper design made it look better than before. Though the car shares its underpinnings with the Skoda Superb, both cars look worlds apart. The new-gen Passat has taken nearly three years to come to India but the launch has been a much awaited one.​
