Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has introduced the Matt edition of the Polo and Vento in India. The Matt edition of the Volkswagen Polo is now available in the GT version of the car, with a starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh. In Matt Edition, the Volkswagen Vento Highline AT version costs 11.94 lakh, while the Highline Plus AT variant costs 13.34 lakh.

Both Matt Edition cars have a Carbon Steel Grey Matt finish on the exterior, including the roof, fuel flap, front and rear bumpers, and a black glossy finish on the ORVM and door handles, giving them a sporty and luxurious look.

The Matt Editions of the Volkswagen Polo and Vento will be available from October 5 at all Volkswagen dealerships, with deliveries beginning immediately. Both vehicles will come with Volkswagen's 4EVER Care package, which includes a four-year warranty, four-year roadside assistance (RSA), and three complimentary services. The Matt-finish Polo and Vento sedans will be powered by Volkswagen's TSI technology engine, which will be paired to a six-speed automatic transmission.

The engine produces 81 kW of peak power at 5000-5500 rpm and 175Nm of peak torque at 1750-4000 rpm. Volkswagen India has broadened its line of premium sedans available in the market with the introduction of the Matt Edition Polo and Vento. The automaker hopes that the new colour palette would help consumers stand out from the throng. "Polo and Vento are our class-leading vehicles, and they have been establishing new milestones in their respective categories since their debut," Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said during the presentation of the new versions. He expressed confidence that the customers will “thoroughly enjoy driving these cars".
