In India, Volvo has launched a new top variant of its flagship SUV XC90. The variant, named XC90 Excellence Lounge Console, is priced at Rs 1.42 crore. This luxurious SUV from Volvo is a 3-seater. The company has said that it will be sold in limited numbers. Booking for the new Volvo XC 90 has started. The company expects better sales of this SUV.
According to media reports, the unique 3-seater layout has been given in this new variant of Volvo XC 90. In this, the multi-function module has been replaced by replacing the co-driver seat found in the front of the car. It can be used as a 17-inch touchscreen display, table, footrest and storage compartment.
The second line has two different captain seats inside the SUV. Both these seats can be tilted. Also, this luxurious SUV has features like a refrigerator, heated/cooled cup holder and handmade crystal glass with bottle and glass holder. This new variant of Volvo XC 90 has leather seats, 20-speakers, 400-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system. This luxurious SUV has a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged and supercharged petrol engine. It is paired with an electric motor. The engine has a total power output of 401bhp and peak torque of 640 Nm.
