BANGALORE: The Karnataka Congress has started an attack on the BJP  and chief minister Basavaraj Bommai, alleging that the ruling party has corrupted the election procedures. Congress leaders further said that Kannadigas’ votes and their right to vote were being stolen by the Basavaraj Bommai government.

In a statement to the media, Kumaraswamy said that the BJP had contracted with a private company to rig the elections. The comany is based in Malleshwaram and is owned by a powerful minister.

He added that at the time the controversy broke, the same company had earlier burned BBMP documents at night. Congress leaders are acting as though their credibility is untarnished after engaging in similar behaviours in the past.
Similar actions will be taken if Congress wins the presidency. BJP has no issues as long as there are Electronic Voting Machines (EVM). The saffron party is making dishonest attempts to regain power. Regarding the BJP and Congress, Kumaraswamy said that the public should exercise caution.

No matter what it does, BJP cannot win the election. He claimed that after JD (S) takes over as governor of the state, action will be done against those who committed fraud.

When questioned about his veiled criticism of Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayan, Minister of Higher Education, he insisted that he is not being lenient. Voter information is being gathered by former employees of the business that produced electronic voting machines. I don't give it much thought. He emphasised that no matter what the BJP does, it will lose elections.
