New Delhi: Voting for the 70 seats for Delhi Assembly elections has started from 8 am today. The people of Delhi will decide the fate of 672 candidates today. There are a total of 1.47 crore voters in Delhi. Out of these total voters, the number of men is 81.05 lakhs, while the number of women voters is 66.80 lakhs. The number of first time voters is 2.32 lakh.

All candidates are worried about voting and results. Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and his wife Mala Baijal cast their votes at a polling booth in Greater Kailash. AAP's current MLA and candidate Saurabh Bhardwaj is contesting from here against Shikha Rai of BJP and Sukhbir Pawar of Congress. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan reached voting with his mother at Ratan Devi Public School in Krishna Nagar.

BJP's Anil Goyal and Congress's Ashok Walia are contesting from here against the current MLA of AAP and candidate SK Bagga. Earlier on Friday evening, Delhi CM and AAP national president Arvind Kejriwal arrived at the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place, Delhi to offer prayers. Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari bowed at the Kalkaji temple.
