Hyderabad: Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate an exhibition on 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' (EBSB) on Sunday, December 12 in Hyderabad, the Ministry of Tourism announced today.

The exhibition will be coordinated by the Regional Outreach Bureau of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, according to the Ministry. This exhibition will emphasise several intriguing characteristics of the paired states of Haryana and Telangana, such as art forms, cuisine, festivals, monuments, and tourist attractions, among other things. The exhibition will be on display at the Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University Campus in Nampally, Hyderabad, from December 12 to 14.

The Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme is a one-of-a-kind government project to develop the spirit of national integration and enhance the fabric of emotional relationships between our country's citizens. This EBSB goal will be realised through the concept of state/UT matching. Every state and territory in the country would be paired with another for a set length of time, during which they would engage in structured exchanges in areas such as language, literature, cuisine, festivals, cultural events, tourism, and so on.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) campaign on October 31, 2015, to commemorate the 140th birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was instrumental in the country's post-independence unification.
