The festival of Navratri is about to come. You all must know that Chaitra Navratri is going on at this time, so if you are going to fast during Navratri, then we are going to tell you the easiest and most delicious method of making Lauki Halwa. Let's know.

Ingredients for making Lauki Halwa-
Gourd - 1 fort
Sugar - 1.5 cups 300 grams
Mawa - 1 cup 250 grams
Full cream milk - 1 cup
Ghee - 1/4 cup 50 grams
Cashew - 15
Almonds - 15
Small cardamom - 6-7

Method of making bottle gourd pudding- First of all, wash and peel the bottle gourd and cut the stalk, and remove it. After this, cut the gourd into big pieces of 3-4 inches, grate them from all sides, and take care to remove the soft part and seeds from it. Now prepare cashews and almonds by cutting them into small pieces, peel the cardamom and make a fine powder of its seeds. After this, heat a pan on the gas, and then put the gourd in the pan to cook add milk and mix it very well. Now cover the pan and let the gourd cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.

After this, look at the gourd, if it has become slightly soft, and if milk is visible in the gourd, then increase the flame of the gas and cook the gourd for 1-2 minutes till the milk ends. Now when the milk is exhausted in the bottle gourd, add sugar to the bottle gourd and cook it till the sugar dissolves completely in the pudding and its juice is completely gone. Keep in mind that the halwa is cooked while stirring continuously so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Now prepare the mawa by roasting it in another pan and for this put the crumbled mawa in the pan, keep the gas low, and cook the mawa by stirring continuously till it changes color slightly.

When the color of mawa changes and ghee starts coming out of it, then understand that mawa is ready after roasting, take it out in a bowl. Now when there is very little juice left in the gourd, add ghee to it and fry it well for 2-3 minutes while stirring continuously. Now after the gourd is roasted, add roasted mawa, chopped almonds, cashew, and cardamom powder, and cook the pudding by mixing everything well for 1-2 minutes. Now let the halwa cook on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes. Take your halwa is ready.
