The month of November has begun. As soon as the month of November begins, the month of November is full of festivals and a lot of holidays are coming up. According to the Hindu Panchang, it is called Kartik month. Today we are going to tell all of you about the festivals that fall in November. The list includes Dhanteras, Diwali, Govardhan Puja, Bhaidooj and Chhath Puja.

Festivals falling in the month of November-

1st November Rambha or Rama Ekadashi - Lord Vishnu, Mata Lakshmi and Tulsi ji are worshipped on this day.

2nd November Pradosh Vrat, Dhanteras - Mother Lakshmi and Kuber are worshipped on this day.

3rd November Hell Chaturdashi, Monthly Shivratri - This day is also known as Roop Chaud, Kali Chaudas and Chhoti Diwali.

4th November Diwali - Kartik celebrates The Amavasya of Krishna Paksha of the month of Diwali. Mother Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha are worshipped on this day.

5th November Govardhan Puja - Annakoot is consumed on the day of Govardhan Puja and it is worshipped by making govardhan a symbol of God from dung in the houses.


6th November is Bhaidooj- Bhaidooj, a festival symbolizing the love of brothers and sisters.

8th November Kharna (Chhath Puja), Vinayak Chaturthi - Chhath Mahaparva begins from this day.

10th November Chhath Puja - This day is the fast of Chhath Puja.

14th November Devutthan Ekadashi, Devuthani Ekadashi - On this day Lord Vishnu wakes up from four months of sleep and Manglik works begin.

16th November Bhoomi Pradosh, Chaturmas Conclude - Lord Shivaji and Mother Parvati are worshipped on this day.

19th November Kartik Purnima - Ganga Bathing is important on this day.

20th November Guru Teg Bahadur Sacrifice Day.

23rd November Sankranti Chaturthi.

30th November Utpanna Ekadashi.
