Former Indian batsman VVS Laxman believes a lot will depend on MS Dhoni when CSK will lock horn with MI. In his column for the Times of India Laxman that final should be a cracker, though much will hinge on MS the batsman, the wicketkeeper and the captain. He further wrote, “On what should be a good track for batting, Mumbai Indians with their unquestioned greater depth will start favourites.”

 Mumbai Indians have already completed a hat-trick over Chennai Super Kings this season, beating Dhoni's men in all three matches in this season.
