Pakistan's legendary fast bowler says goodbye to Test cricket

New Delhi: Pakistan's best bowlers, Wahhab Riaz, have said goodbye to Test cricket. According to Pakistani media, left-arm pacer Wahhab Riaz will no longer be seen playing in a white jersey for the Pakistan team. The 34-year-old Wahhab Riaz was last part of Pakistan's Test team in October 2018. At present, Wahab Riaz has informed the Pakistan Cricket Board that he will not be available for the Pakistan team in future for Test cricket.

Wahhab Riaz will formally announce it after his return to Pakistan after the GT20 Canada League being played in Canada. Wahhab Riaz had made it to the Pakistan team in Test cricket against England in August 2010. Since then, Wahhab Riaz has played a total of 27 Test matches for the Pakistan team in which he bagged 83 wickets.

In the meantime, his best bowling figure is 5/1. 63. Just a few days ago, fast bowler Mohammad Amir had announced his retirement from Test cricket. The former Pakistan cricket team was condemned by former cricketers after 27-year-old Mohammad Amir retired from Test cricket. Wasim Akram, Ramez Raj and Shoaib Akhtar were not happy with the decision of fast bowler Mohammad Amir. But team coach Mickey Arthur was aware of his decision.
