Rajasthan Royals (RR) bowler  Varun Aaron, who had played just one game for his franchise this season before the match against KKR, was seen in rhythm as he showcased an impressive bowling spell - where he gave away just 20 runs and took two crucial wickets against KKR. Aaron was awarded Man of the Match for his economical spell. After his match-defining performance against the hosts, he revealed his desire to play for India and win matches for the team.

Want to play for my country and win matches.” Varun last played for India in the year 2014 against Sri Lanka in Cuttack.” Said, Varun in the post-match presentation ceremony.

With the victory against KKR, Rajasthan moved up to the seventh place with 8 points after 11 matches, while Kolkata remained at sixth spot having played same number of matches.

 RR will next host Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 27 while Kolkata will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) on April 28.
