Dehradun: In a shameful incident, the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell and Jhanakaiya police raided Kapoor Colony of Rajivnagar here and arrested four criminals, including three women involved in the flesh trade. Incriminating material including a bike, and four mobile phones, and Rs 17,300 cash was also recovered from the possession of the criminal. After registering a report, the criminals were sent to jail in judicial custody.
The same young men and women told that they have been involved in this business for a long time to earn more money in less time. CO Veer Singh said that a case has been registered against the three women, including the woman director, and the man Nand Kishore Maurya, a resident of village Bandia, under Section 3/4/5/6/7/8 Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act 1956.
The same criminals were sent to jail after being produced in court. CO Singh said that a complaint was received about the crowd of boys and girls in the said colony every day, which was spoiling the atmosphere. On this occasion, Jhankaiya Police Station Ravindra Singh Bisht, Anti Human Trafficking Cell Inspector Basanti Arya, SI Manoj Dhoni, Naveen Giri, Ramesh Chandra, Priyanka Arya, Priyanka Koranga, Rajendra Joshi, Geeta Chand and others were present. Further investigation is going on in this case.
