New Delhi: India's first match of the T20 World Cup was against Pakistan, in which they suffered a 10-wicket defeat. Pakistan's ministers termed it as a victory for Islam. In India, firecrackers were fired at Pak's victory in various Muslim dominated areas. PAK captain Babar Azam himself spoke of a 'kufr break.' But did you know that Pakistan's opening batsman Mohammad Rizwan started praying during the match?

When there was a break in the match, while the rest of the players were taking drinks, during this time Mohammad Rizwan was sitting on the ground and offering Namaz. Its video has also gone viral when he is seen offering Namaz keeping the bat and helmet aside. This video is being shared fiercely in Pakistan and it is being said that success is achieved only by offering Namaz. The citizens there are praising Mohammad Rizwan saying that he does not leave Namaz under any circumstances. Let us tell you that Mohammad Rizwan played a brilliant inning of 79 runs in 55 balls in this match, in which he hit 6 fours and 3 sixes. His strike rate was more than 143.

However, now former Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis has also reacted to Mohammad Rizwan offering prayers. Waqar said, 'The best thing was by Mohammad Rizwan. Mashallah! He stood among the Hindus on the ground and offered prayers.' Waqar Younis further said that it was 'very special' for him. Waqar said this in a discussion after the results of the India-Pakistan match on a TV channel 'ARY News.' When Waqar Younis was saying this, another Pakistani player Shoaib Akhtar was also present at the debate and he was smiling at it.
