Indo-Pak dialogue has called by the united opposition in Jammu and Kashmir to answer the burned Kashmir matter.

As per the President Farooq Abdullah (National Conference ), "Since the Prime Minister has accepted the need for dialogue to find a lasting solution to the political issue, it is imperative that the Central government initiates talks with stakeholders within the state and also resumes a meaningful dialogue with Pakistan to resolve the Kashmir issue,"

Abdullah further said, “War was not a solution and it will only bring devastation, as both countries have atom bombs. We appeal to both countries that dialogue is the only solution,"

Abdullah also added, “the prevailing situation in the state was alarming and reiterated the need for a consensus within the Opposition parties”

President Ghulam Ahmed Mir of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee aforesaid, “the Opposition parties in the state should be united in initiating a proactive process of reaching out to the people in this situation of uncertainty and suffering”
